Events in 13 countries celebrate the first European Day of Sustainable Communities

Communities in 13 European countries have registered events to celebrate the first European Day of Sustainable Communities.

From ecovillage tours in Spain and Italy to a harvest festival in Sweden, a lecture on rural eco tourism in Serbia and a screening of the film ‘The Plastic Ocean’ in Wales, the diversity of events is impressive.

It’s not too late to register your event on the ECOLISE website!

Likewise places are still available for the conference launching the day in Brussels, Belgium that we are co-hosting with the European Economic and Social Committee. We’ll be hearing from policy makers in the European Parliament and Commission as well as voices from the ECOLISE network, both in person at the event and through live link-ups to Croatia, France, Ireland, Sweden and Portugal.

The whole event will be webstreamed live so please tune in on the morning of Friday 22nd September.
