Dear interested and engaged people in transition projects,

we have already announced in August with a « Save the date » a cross-border meeting of actors from Towns in transition. The meeting is scheduled for October 20th from 12:30 to 19:00 in Dunkirk (Fr) in the presence of Rob Hopkins, the founder of the Transition network.

This day is intended exclusively for people active in transition projects in order to get to know each other better and above all to explore together projects to share or simply to make known.

Transforming the world to make it more alive – it is the aspiration of cities in transition – to promote change through concrete local actions: How do we live? Who owns the city? How can we make cities together more sustainable?

The afternoon of Friday is therefore aimed at promoters – people who are actually engaged in collective actions – that we want to « network ». The Saturday morning visit is being defined and may be more open to interested people who are not promoters of cities in transition.

On Saturday, October 21 at 2:30 pm, all other interested people are invited to a public conference with Rob Hopkins. It will take place in the auditorium of the Learning Center of the Halle aux sucres and will be free.

For Friday, please register by filling out the different sections of the Eventbrite form and mentioning the project you are contributing to.
